Title: Additional Registration Required Fields
Post by: salvo on November 10, 2008, 02:44:22 am
I'm using coppermine for a family site to upload pictures and images, only thing is that I have to have users email me to let me know now what username they signed up for.  Does anyone know how to alter code so that I can add additional "Required" Fields duing registration ?  Specifically First Name, Last Name, and maybe one more which would be text and or numbers for age, etc....  Custom fields are just not good if someone choses not to fill out the field.  Thank you any and all responses would be greatly appreciated.

Did you read docs before posting? I think not. Go to: Custom fields for user profile (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#admin_custom)

First off thank you for your response.

Did you read my post? I THINK NOT.  Have you read the docs yourself ? I THINK NOT!  The docs read as follows. These fields are displayed within the "user profile" area.

I asked "Does anyone know how to alter code so that I can add additional "Required" Fields "

Please next time read the post and understand what is being requested. If anyone can actually help any and all responses would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

Ease off on the CAPITAL letter usage, that is considered shouting on most boards.

If you read the docs on the custom fields for user profile and then combine that knowledge with one of the following two threads you should be able to get what you want.

If you don't get the answer you was looking for, just rephrase it. I din't shout at you. I was not rude with you, ok? So please, treat like you want to be treated. There is no need to be rude. I just wanted to help you.

Bye..
