Title: Category images and albums counter

Hallo everybody!

I was wondering if there is a way to use as category picture a picture contained in one of its subcategories. And if it's possible to count in the albums contained in a category also the albums contained in its subcategories.

For example: I have a category with photos from Italy with 0 albums and then many subcategories with all the regions of Italy (let's say 10 subcategories with 3 albums each and 5 photos in each album).
I'd like that when I see the main presentation of category Italy'd be displayed:
Image: a image from subcategory Lazio and album Rome
Album: 30
Files: 150

I hope I managed to explain my problem properly :)

Is it possibly? And how?

Missing feature. In other words: no, this is currently not possible.

I see. Do you think it will be hard to add a php code somewhere? It shouldn't be hard to write the number of albums and similar but I don't know where to put my code modification.

Yes, it's hard. If it were easy, we would have implemented this long time ago, as you're not the first user to request category thumbs for nested categories.
