Title: Where is the Next Page in Edit Album?
Post by: totalcollection on September 24, 2008, 01:15:46 pm
In Edit Album, there are a few options to show pictures in 25, 50, 75, and 100. How about I wanna show 25 pictures in a page, then like to click on to the next page to show another 25 pictures rather showing 50 at once cz it's kind of slow?

Thx

While that's not a lot of data to be pulling from a database, it does depend on your hosting service, server connection, and how large your gallery is. On my locally hosted test gallery this is very fast, on my shared hosting plan where my public gallery resides, it's painly slow. It's not Coppermine I can assure you.

If you have set the number of files to be displayed to 25 and there are more than 25 files in that album, there's a link named "See next files" at the top that let's you go to the next screen. I admit that it's not exactly the same concept used for pagination on other coppermine-driven pages, but it does just about the same thing. Please take a thorough look: the feature you request already exists. I have attached a screenshot taken on the demo to illustrate.
