So what is wrong with the below code?

    $CONFIG['dbpass'  ] = 'helen2006' ;

    $CONFIG['TABLE_PREFIX'] =                'cpg_';

realised I was missing a ' but that hasn't changed anything now error on line 6

You have a backtick instead of a single quote after localhost.
