Title: Upgrading and plugins

I am going to upgrade tonight to 1.4.19. I have a couple of plugins already installed, Do have to uninstall them first? and update to remove any additions to the database? then backup the database then do the upgrade?

I looked around a bit..but didn't see any similar posts.

No, just follow the instructions.
