I tried installing plugins from the pluginmgr.php page but everytime it keeps on showing the same error msg
Critical error
There was an error copying the package to the plugins folder.
and when i try installing it from ftp...the plugin shows in the pluginmgr.php page but when i try to install, it shows the following error msg
Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'plugins/captcha/include/init.inc.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/a7653899/public_html/plugins/Captcha/codebase.php on line 32
this happens to every plugin i try to install not onlly captcha. What should i do ? pls help.

Make the plugins folder writable.

Exactly as suggested in the documentation that comes with coppermine, section "setting permissions". Apply read/write permissions for the plugins folder.
