Title: Need Voting not Rating 1 album=1vote
Post by: prairiewolf on August 17, 2008, 07:24:54 pm
I have a clean install of cpg1.4.19 with the basic dfire theme, changes to images and colors only, if that matters. No idea whether to post this under misc or dfire theme?

Can I restrict voting to 1 vote per person (ip? email? user?) per album? I've searched and searched and see several posts where this is asked but could not find an answer anywhere. I have found one with instructions for modifying images to create a vote button but again the above quesion remained unanswered when asked.

I'm setting up a gallery for one of our fund raising projects of the year - a calendar and need to allow people to vote for only one photo per month(album). I think I'm capable of modifying dfire images and hopefully template to accomplish that change but it's useless if I can't get the 1x1 voting implemented when it's opened for voting

The theme doesn't matter in this aspect. What you require needs editing of coppermine's core code. I'm not aware of such a mod.
