Title: How come....
Post by: Sizzle on June 28, 2008, 08:30:46 am
when I view my pictures in a program like ACDSee they have a resolution of 3004x2000 and they fit to my screen.
But when I view the same picture in Coppermine in that resolution (Max width or height of an intermediate picture/video 3004) it has the same resolution but it is to big for my screen.
Is the ACDSee way possible within Coppermine ?
I don't see any quality difference between a 3004x2000 ACDSee picture and a 1280x851 picture in Coppermine, but this has been puzzling me for some time now.

How come ..... because ACDSee has an "Auto image size" option which shrinks the image to fit the window or screen. I don't think Coppermine has this facility - but I may be wrong  :) If you are happy with 1280x851 resolution, why store anything bigger in CPG?

no you're right. This facility doesn't exist at this moment in CPG
