Title: Notify a user that of new uploads since last visit?

Does this exsit or could it be made?
I would need it for an SMF bridge to help encourage gallery use. My girlfriend gave me the idea and it sounds like an awesome one.

I was think some like a pop-up or just a simple text line saying;

# Pictures were added to XAlbumX, repeat for each album that recieved uploads since last visit
and say 'No uploads since last visit' if there were no uploads.

If I knew enough about coding I would just make it, but im a newb to php and sql

If you don't have the money nor the skills, you'll have to live without that additional feature I'm afraid.

Sounds like a good idea. I'd be happy with just a newsletter type of notice to all registered users, when new pics have been uploaded. :)

Maybe they could select certain albums to recieve notices about, plus opt out of all notices.
