Title: Unable to create thumbnail or reduced size image
Post by: PVP on April 09, 2008, 03:59:08 am
Here is the debug message I get after setting "File Upload boxes" to 1 and "URI upload boxes" to 0, then trying to upload and place a file in an album:

========================
The file 'albums/userpics/10001/boomerangs_small2.jpg' can't be inserted in the album
Unable to create thumbnail or reduced size image.
File: /home/websites/97/www.pvpimports.com/db_input.php - Line: 402
========================

Config is set for GD2, and GD settings appear OK in phpinfo.php.

I am not sure where to go from here.....can anyone assist?

No "Powered by Coppermine" footer -> No support for you!

I got onto the guy who hacked Coppermine together with my website and got him to restore the credits link.
Then I beat him up on behalf of the coppermine developers ;-)

I assure you that the link will remain on the site from now on.

OK for support now?

Sorry mate, upgrading is one of those things we insist on. And since you are running <!--Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.4.12 (stable)--> at the moment it is important that you upgrade first.

Check your config to see if you have ImageMagick selected or GD2 and check which of those is installed on the server where your site is hosted.

Cheers
Hein

Also review the permissions on the albums folder.
