Title: [Closed]: Surfline Coppermine Clone
Post by: surfchoke on March 29, 2008, 04:56:21 pm
Hello,

I'm looking for someone to modify my photo page to that of surfline's photo page.  I would like my users to upload their own photos to my site and also to change my theme to keep it congruent with my site.  As of right now only me the administrator can upload photos.  My website is www.lasurfing.com then click on photos on the tabs on the top of the page.  Then you can check out surfline.com then click on photos at the top of the page as well to see examples.  I'm willing to pay $20.00 to whoever can get this task done.  Thank you.

Here is a preliminary theme for you, with the basic layout of your wordpress page used for the theme. None of the coppermine classes has been populated yet, nor have custom buttons been designed, so there is still work to be done.
This might be a hard task though, as you chose a three column layout for your entire page that makes it hard in terms of design to make a table-driven photogallery like coppermine match your site's layout.
I'm posting/releasing this free of charge. If you want the needed additional design issues to be accomplished, I might look into this later if I have the time. If you're happy with my work, I want you to donate to sourceforge (once the task has been accomplished).
Download the zip file and unarchive it into http://www.lasurfing.com/photos/themes/
Then preview it by going to http://www.lasurfing.com/photos/?theme=lasurfing
To go back to your default theme, go to http://www.lasurfing.com/photos/?theme=xxx

Cheers

Joachim

The wordpress theme you use is available in a 2-column design as well, so I used that instead of the 3-column design on your blog. So I started from scratch and ported the 2-column theme "digg" for you. I had to redo your custom logo as well, as it is too wide. Find the new version of the theme attached here. As before, the coppermine classes haven't been populated yet.
A little thumbs up could not hurt, so please post a review.

Still no response? OK, then I guess your request is no longer valid - I'll stop further development of that theme. Marking thread as "closed".
