Title: positioning of images and text in album descriptions
Post by: simons-photography.com on February 04, 2008, 02:17:13 pm
Well I installed coppermine on my site and its just great. just one small peoblem. as you will see at my home page
 http://www.simons-photography.com/gallery
I have quite a description for each album as there is nowhere else to explain the general meaning of each album and its a good place anyway. the only problem (that others have pointed out to me as well) is that the thumnail is next to the description text so that there is a lot of wasted space and the colums of text are thin, I parly resolved this unsightly situation by making the page 2 colums instead of 3 but it still does not look perfect, it would be better if the thumnail could be on top of the descritions making it more pleasing to look at, for me it is a bit better as I have a 15:10 ratio monitor but naturally many of my users are using a 4:3 monitor and in this ratio it does not look too pretty.
thanks kindly for listening to me

Simon
