Title: changing title on hopemage "my gallery - home" to "my gallery"
Post by: alanpalan on January 31, 2008, 07:57:42 pm
Can I remove the word "home" from title when somebody is reading my homepage? (When you enter some category or album and in title appears for example "Doctor Who gallery - Images/Behind the scenes images", it's ok. But I think it's unnecessary to have title "Doctor Who gallery - home" when somebody enters your gallery homepage. Besides, search engines (at least Google) sees title of my page as "Doctor Who gallery - home", and that's little bit annoying :)
Or maybe it would be fine to rewrite the word "home" to something else, perhaps to describtion words of my site.... but I don't know how.

Posting a link to your gallery might be a good start...

I have more galleries. It's the same on every Coppermine site. But I just figured it out how to change the attribute "home" in title - in language files I rewrote "home" to what I want it to have here So know title of my Coppermine homepage is not (for example) "Alan's homepage - Home" but "Alan's homepage - My photo gallery". I hope it's ok like this.
