Post by: soleiltan2 on January 26, 2008, 07:25:49 am
Well....here's another new one for all you kids out there using this brilliant Coppermine photo gallery.

After just being online in my Gallery today...I go to show a client the site and low and behold....he was BANNED. Then... :-[ me, I went to sign in under my admin name and low and behold....I WAS BANNED>

Using the latest version here people.....and have used this forum mucho for all the great input and advice....BUT, HOW CAN I BE HACKED?????????

I already read the post about how do undo that.....But what are we talking about here......bugs in the code or bugs in the house...

Well kids...I have deleted all USERS from the site except for me...changed my admin password 3 times....

then I leave the computer for about 10 minutes and I was banned again from site...

There is definitely a bug in this software that allow hackers in....

I used a more encrypted password and I haven't been hacked in a couple of hours.

We'll see how it goes.

We can hardly help you recovering from being hacked. Generic reply: scan for backdoors that the hacker has left.
