Title: Reformating picture information
Post by: gillbates on March 28, 2004, 05:00:42 pm
I think that the software is great, but I won't be using it to remember days at the beach but to archive historical photos.  The Picture information (who took the picture, year it was taken, who has custody of it, etc.) is almost as important as the picture itself.

Coppermine places the picture information far below the photo itself.  Is there a way to display it more prominently on the page as this website does http://www.mainememory.net/bin/Search2?q_id=241931&supst=bv and http://www.mainememory.net/bin/Detail?ln=8380&in_size=298?

Thanks

Gill

you can modify the theme to change the appearance of the picinfo section as well (within some limits). Having a two column display (with the pic on one side and the text on the other) won't be easy though (nobody has posted the code to do this yet).
For a start I suggest you enable the picinfo section to be visible by default in coppermine config.
