Title: can register.php or login.php go in a secure folder with .htaccess?
Post by: girlstyle on December 17, 2007, 05:34:54 pm
Hi there,

I'm trying to integrate coppermine with Verotel Payment Processors for a subscription based system. I've come up with a possible way to make our gallery work.

Can anyone think of a way to put the register.php into a folder on it's own and then I make it password protected with .htacces (which is controlled by Verotel).

I tried to put the signup.php into it's own folder, but coppermine doesn't like it. Any suggestions?

Cheers

Use .htaccess to apply the restrictions to just the files you need. No need to put them into a seperate folder.

Hi Nibbler,

Many thanks for that solution, but I'm not sure how to do that? How do I set the .htaccess to work on just the register.php file?

The furthest I can get is my web provider allowing me to .htaccess a whole folder, like you say, I need just one file, the register.php Can you give me a rough or exact idea what to do?

Cheers
