Title: [Closed]: Thumbnail Transparency
Post by: Mases on December 04, 2007, 06:36:45 am
I've tried uploading transparent images to the gallery. The images are transparent, but the thumbnails have the solid color that was pulled on in the background. Is there a way to make the thumbnails transparent as well?

http://www.zeldadungeon.net/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=183

The 4th, 8th, and 12th images on that page are transparent but have the colored boxes around them, but when you click them, they are gone since it shows the full sized images. It's not that bad on this page, but on others it's really bad for me.

(I've looked briefly for a topic like this and found some similar topics but nothing exact. Although, I'm sure it's been asked before.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Transparency is not supported by the image library coppermine uses.

Hey guys...

I made this thread almost two years ago... but I was curious to know if there were any changes in this question. Has Coppermine (or do they have any plans) to support transparent thumbnail images?

Thanks,

The image libraries coppermine uses (ImageMagick or GD) haven't changed in this aspect, nor did a new major coppermine version (with new features) get released, so no: nothing has changed in this aspect. Locking.
