Title: [Solved]: Windows XP publish for linux
Post by: radmofo on November 29, 2007, 03:48:25 am
Hello, I am looking to completely get RID of windows in my house and use LINUX....I am almost there. I have hurdled every bound so far, I have enjoyed it, however -my wife is extremely uuuumm, technology challenged.

Pretty much the last thing I need to find is a way that she can upload the photos from our camera to our website which is a Coppermine Photo Gallery as simply as using the Windows XP Publish.

I know I can ftp upload and then batch add but thats a few too many steps for her!

I know the program F-spot for linux will publish to GALLERY and FLICKR.

Whats the word on a one click upload for linux to coppermine.

Kevin

Take a look at Koppermine (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=29497.0) then.

Is there an integrated version available for Windows XP Pusblishing?  I modified a XP Publishing utility to upload via Publishing, but do not know how to integrate it with Coppermine..  You can upload to specified directories, but have to manually batch add the images..

The original thread starter requested XP Publisher for Linux. Are you looking for a Linux solution as well? If not: stay out of this thread.
