I'd like to have one Category of albums be publicly viewable (Anonymous group), while another Category is only viewable by a Custom User group. Is this possible?
In both the current docs (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#album_prop) and the 1.5 docs (http://documentation.coppermine-gallery.net/albums.htm#album_prop) there appears to be an option in the "Permissions for this album" section of Album Properties, called "Album can be viewed by", but I can't find this option in my install. Has it been removed?
The only way I can figure out to limit viewing by user group is to use two separate Coppermine installs, but that seems excessive and unwieldy.
Thanks!

Album Properties. Its below the album title.

Hmmm, that's where I am. In Admin mode, I click on the "Properties" button below the album name, and here's the interface I get:
[Edit GauGau] Replaced hotlinked image with attachment [/Edit]
Isn't the option "Album can be viewed by" supposed to be right there above "Album password" ?

Yes, therefore you must have disabled it. Put 'albums can be private' back to YES in config.

Wow, how did I miss that in the docs? Thank you Nibbler.
