Title: .htaccess rewrites

I had an error on my ftp today while using Coppermine.

So I contacted my FTP host and they said to me...

"This error seems to be coming from your .htaccess file. I have removed the content and it now works. The original is now called .htaccess.bak You will need to contact gallery support to see what is wrong with the .htaccess rewrites as we cannot provide support for this."

I don't have the background to know the cause or how to fix this. Not sure if this is a bug in the software. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
