Edit your theme's style.css

Okay I found the style.css

But where do I go to edit the background and this Category box color:

[Edit GauGau] Replaced hotlinked image with attachment, deleting the subsequent extra posting that contained just another link to the screenshot. Use attachments in the future [/Edit]

Use the Web Developer Toolbar (see "Tools recommended by the devs -> Web Developer Extension (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=31423.msg145984#msg145984)") to figure out what part of the stylesheet is responsible for which part of the screen. In your case, it is the class "tableh1". In the future, post a link to your gallery and describe what you want to see changed - a screenshot (or part of it) usually doesn't help much when asking for support on CSS issues. Actually, posting a link to your gallery is almost mandatory in all your support requests.
I edited your above posting and removed the surplus posting with the link.
