Hello, why as a normal user I can´t modify an image ( comments, etc etc ) in a public gallery ? the image is uploaded by me.
Thank you.
Sorry of my bad english.
-
Normal users (registered or unregistered) do not have editing rights like a admin has.
-
Set "Allow users to retain control over their pics in public galleries (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#admin_user_editpics_public_start)" to "yes" in coppermine's config

Thx for the responses.
GauGau, there´s not any option to do that on the group config on my coppermine´s gallery. Why ?
-
Are you running 1.4?

I didn't say that it's on the groups panel. I said that it's on Coppermine's overall config page. That's what the documentation (see link above) says as well.
As Nibbler suggested: make sure that you're running cpg1.4.x - older versions (that go unsupported) don't have that option. If you're not sure, post a link to your gallery.

Hi, I don´t know which version it is. I have it here:
http://www.pentaxeros.com/mkportal/modules/coppermine/index.php
Thx for the help.

That's a modified version of Coppermine 1.3. You need to get updates and support from whoever provides the modified version.
-
Ok, thx again.

Moving thread accordingly from "cpg1.4 permissions (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?board=49.0)". You shouldn't have posted on the wrong board in the first place. Ask http://www.mkportal.it/ for an updated version or (even better) use the version we provide.
