Title: Bridging phpBB, No experiance in php

I'm running phpBB 2.0.22

Please understand I have little experience with phpBB and no experience with php itself.

Before I drive myself nuts could someone please tell me how difficult it is to make it all work together? I guess I'm asking is this something a novice can do without goofing up my forum?
