Title: "Powered by coppermine-gallery" can I place it in the general footer?
Post by: jensderknipser on May 22, 2007, 06:07:27 pm
Dear CPG-Developers,

I have read the Docs and did a searchg, an I have found a Thread, wich was quite close to my Question, but with no answer to me though. So please allow this question being posted here:

Is it allowed to show the cpg-copyright-notice in my general footer instead of the place, where you decided to show it? See Picture 5 (actual version) and 5a (wished version)?

Thanks for your replay,
jens

I suppose there is not objection to your request. As long as the copyright is displayed and functions in the same way as the original placement (linking to this site).

If a dev team member disagrees please correct me.

No, you're both wrong. You mustn't edit/change the footer no matter what. We're not ready to discuss this publicly, locking thread. Refer to http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/faq.htm#editCopyrights
