Title: playing .dcr files using an internal cpg player
Post by: wipqozn1 on May 08, 2007, 02:45:19 pm
I guess it's my last problem to solve...

How could I play .dcr files in my gallery without using user-browser-definded plugin (since there is NO such one for linux systems)? I mean, is there a way to play these .dcr files using an internal cpg player? AFAIK flv player (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=34182.0) doesn't support .dcr files.

.dcr files are Shockwave Movies (developed by Macromedia) with MIME type application/x-director

Coppermine doesn't feature a player of it's own, it relies on the browser having the proper plugin installed.

Add an entry to your filetypes table as you see fit. If the browser is capable to display it, then fine.
