Title: Uninstalling SEF_URLS?
Post by: schalicto on May 07, 2007, 07:02:14 pm
Hi, I installed sef_urls because it seemed like a good idea but I didn't know of all the problems with it and now I get a 403 permission error.  Since i can't get to the plugin manager I can't uninstall it.  How do I deactivate it?

Thanks in advance!

Delete the .htaccess file from your Coppermine directory.

I don't have an .htaccess in the coppermine root directory.  I have one in my main root directory but it was not created by sef_urls and it's got info in it that I need.

There has to be a .htaccess file there. Not all FTP apps display .htaccess files. Use WinSCP as FTP client to see it. As an alternative, ask your webhost to delete it.
