Title: Website needs integration, including coppermine
Post by: seanblue on March 28, 2007, 12:24:10 am
I need some help, and I'll pay, gladly.

I have a domain name with Godaddy. Signed up for Coppermine, which seems like a very cool interface for the photos. Could not figure out Joomla. What I need is somebody who can get up a splash page with links to some sort of writing/blog interface, Coppermine, and can generally help with questions about integration on a website. I prefer some sort of template-based, non-Flash site which allows me to link within the site from item to item.

I posted this on Withoutabox to give you an idea of what I have and what I am looking for:

--------------------------------------

I love mosaicglobe. But I've already got three domains with them. And I've got to put up a massive fourth site, so I'm looking for a cool provider which has some sort of template-based system. I need:

writing (not just a blog)
photo gallery (with links to something like Coppermine is cool)
ability to show BIG photos (at least 1024 dpi)
audio (mp3 with photos or on splash pages)
embeding capability for vid (even if just Utoob code)
preferrably flash- and non-flash, definitely NOT just flash

And I have already checked out:

sitewelder ($400/year, but almost perfect)
big black bag (not good for writing more than a few sentences)
godaddy's mix (cannot figure out Joomla; coppermine is great)
otherpeoplespixels (all flash, no links internally; few templates)
digital railroad
photoworkshop (just for pix)

Do any WABBERs know of a holy grail mix out there for multimedia needs? Words, pix, vids, sound in a non-flash template-based system?

Thanks in advance if you have any leads for me!

Do you know XOOPS  (http://www.xoops.org/) or Mambo (http://www.mamboserver.com/)?

These also can work with coppermine.
With a nice template it could become a nice site.
