Title: Can't connect to database

My gallery was running properly for a few months and then about a week ago, I went to log in and got this instead:

Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

MySQL said: Access denied for user 'vivan3'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

I have no idea what's wrong or how to fix it.  Can anyone help me?

Make sure that your mySQL settings are correct. Verify includes/config.inc.php

sorry I'm really new to this.  would that be the mysql on my web server or is there a separate mysql for coppermine?
