Hi,
I´ve ported "reflection10" from Wordpress to Coppermine!
After you have checked, you can put it here for download!
Its a nice black and orange theme, because I like black and I think its the
best background for presentation of pics.
Get the zip here : http://chylly.de/reflection.rar (http://chylly.de/reflection.rar)
Testrun: http://chylly.de/testgalerie/ (http://chylly.de/testgalerie/)
Screenshot attached.
Hope you like it

Actually, the file download that you have set up is not a zip file, but a rar archive. Although many people prefer rar because it offers superior compression, it is not recommended to be used here because not everyone has got a client app that is capable to unpack rar archives. We prefer the pseudo-standard "zip".
However, thank you for your contribution - this is really a nice theme, with the background staying fixed and the content area moving around when the scrollbar is being used.
I changed the subject of this thread for easier reference on the contributions board.

Thanx for you quick response.
But I have one question.
I have positioned the Galleries name in the orange headerbar of the theme. But in your theme-demo installation of coppermine I see its moved above the header bar?
Have you changed something?
-
No, I haven't changed anything. I just dropped the backup files (*.bak) and the PSD sources from the demo to save a little bit of webspace. Maybe the custom header (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/custom_header.php) that we use on the demo is to blame, or your theme doesn't play nicely with the custom_header feature. If you plan to investigate further, just copy the HTML output of our header and paste it into a new file; then use the custom_header on your gallery to test.

Heres the update. It works now perfectly with your custom_header!

Richard,
thanks for the update. Reviewing the edits I can see some issues with settings the height attribute in the stylesheet - users who have set their thumbnails to different sizes than you will have their thumbnails cropped. There's a lot of absolute positioning as well, which will cause issues for people who want to edit the theme to make it fit their needs.
Don't get me wrong: I really appreciate your improvements - I just wanted to make you (and others) aware of possible issues.
I have attached your previous attachment as a zip (as suggested: not everyone has got a utility that is capable to unarchive rar).
Cheers
Joachim

Thanx for your rewiew. I have attached the hopefully final version ;) .
Css is stripped of from unnecessary heights (thumbnails, catrow, etc..), and absolute positioning.
I left just one absolute positioning for the header row with gallery name, otherwise it would break out when
your loading the custom_header.
Testet with IE7, FF2.0.0.2 and Opera 9.10 ... everything looks fine
Thanx for your great assistance Joachim

The theme contained some improper nesting of div tags. I have created another version and updated the demo and download links above. Additionally, there have been fixes in the indentation, IE8-compatibility and removal of unneeded files.
