Title: Problems with video files in gallery!

I have uploaded a video file onto my gallery. But i wanted to know if its possible to change the thumbnail view of it? Because its just a big WMV sign at the moment.

And also is it possible to add a link saying "click here to download it" ?? I tried html butti just showed the code.

And also is it possible to change the thumbnail of the video to a JPG file instead of having the "WMV" picture??

Ok so ive figured out how to add a link. But i have a question i cant figure out.

If i wanted to add a "normal" and a "thumbnail" for the videos and video itself.

Would i make a normal sized image and name it say "normal_underoath-in_regards_to_myself.jpg" if the wmv file is named "underoath-in_regards_to_myself.wmv"?????

Ok so i read it and i think i followed the instructions carefully?

i tried uploading a "normal" thumbnail.

the wmv file name is underoath-in_regards_to_myself.wmv

so i tried both of these sepereately as the normal_ picture:

normal_movie_underoath-in_regards_to_myself

normal_wmv_underoath-in_regards_to_myself

but none of them worked!?!?

could it be because i uploaded the video sepereatly thena ttempted to upload the "normal_"???

You can only have custom thumb_ images, not custom normal_ images for videos. Custom normal_ images doesn't make much sense.

I batch uploaded my files which ar elisted below:

underoath-in_regards_to_myself.wmv
thumb_movie_underoath-in_regards_to_myself.jpg
normal_movie_underoath-in_regards_to_myself.jpg


But the thumbnail and image both havent showed up whatsoever! I read the instructions but im still stuck!!

Ok ive done what was said to do.

just uploaded the main wmv file then the thumb_ file tryed it with thumb_movie and thumb_wmv

when i go to click the thumbnail before selected what album to go into it pops up and has alternate text and says the image file is the wmv file????

Why are you naming them like that? If the video is

underoath-in_regards_to_myself.wmv

then the thumbnail is

thumb_underoath-in_regards_to_myself.jpg

...and don't batch-add the thumbnail - just upload it using your FTP app, that's all.
