Title: Fresh Install errors
Post by: Dr Preacox on January 29, 2007, 07:19:37 am
Just downloaded the new version and did a fresh install on: http://www.zyrv.com/parkour/gallery/

Fatal Error:

Debug Drop gave the following:

Quote
While executing query "SELECT u.user_id AS id, u.user_name AS username, u.user_password AS password, u.avatar_url AS avatar_url, u.enable_admin_email AS notify, u.auto_subscribe_post AS auto_subscribe_post, u.auto_subscribe_comment AS auto_subscribe_comment, u.user_group+100 AS group_id FROM `zyrv_parkourgallery`.cpg1410_susers AS u INNER JOIN `zyrv_parkourgallery`.cpg1410_susergroups AS g ON u.user_group=g.group_id WHERE u.user_id='1'" on Resource id #6

mySQL error: Unknown column 'u.avatar_url' in 'field list'

its either too hard or too simple for me to see whats wrong......

That is certainly not a fresh install, this is some kind of mod. Modpack maybe?

Installation:
Before you do anything make a backup of your files and your database!!!!!!
Unpack and upload the files in the archive. Keep the folder structure intact. Then run update.php .... done (you'll get a fatal error if you open the index without running update.php)
If you have a bridged Coppermine rerun the bridgemanager

Now thats kooky, considering their was no previous install on this server, and no old DB, on top of that the files where freshly downloaded then uploaded from Source Forge, but ten bucks says its fixed by that modpack,

I was wondering about that avatar sql call, didn't think that was in the origanal vs.

Cheers Guys,

I'll install the modpack and see what happens
