Title: Removing tile.gf
Post by: Fab on January 22, 2007, 11:15:43 pm
I am using the default theme and would like to remove the film strip, in which file is tile.gif called and what part of the code should I remove?

For now I replaced tile.gif by a 1x1 image with same color as the bakground.

Copy the template from the sample theme to your theme and modify

Code: [Select]
// HTML template for filmstrip display
$template_film_strip = <<<EOT

        <tr>
         <td valign="top" style="background-image: url({TILE1});"><img src="{TILE1}" alt="" border="0" /></td>
        </tr>
        <tr>
        <td valign="bottom" class="thumbnails" align="center">
          <table width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="3" border="0">
              <tr>
                 <td width="50%"></td>
                 {THUMB_STRIP}
                 <td width="50%"></td>
              </tr>
          </table>
        </td>
        </tr>
        <tr>
         <td valign="top" style="background-image: url({TILE2});"><img src="{TILE2}" alt="" border="0" /></td>
        </tr>
<!-- BEGIN thumb_cell -->
                <td valign="top" align="center">
                                        <a href="{LINK_TGT}">{THUMB}</a>
                                        {CAPTION}
                                        {ADMIN_MENU}
                </td>
<!-- END thumb_cell -->
<!-- BEGIN empty_cell -->
                <td valign="top" align="center" >&nbsp;</td>
<!-- END empty_cell -->

EOT;

If you want to remove the film strip, why don't you just disable it in coppermine's config, using "Show film strip"?
