Title: Unable to connect to database !
Post by: virginie on October 30, 2006, 04:30:58 pm
Excuse me if I post here but apparently I can't write a new topic for the 1.3.x version of Coppermine ??? (There's not button "New topic")

When I want to go on my coppermine gallery, I have this error message :

Quote
Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

MySQL said: Lost connection to MySQL server during query

Unfortunately I have no idea about how works a database (and it's even worse if you explain me in englsih). I don't know what to do. I can't do anything with my gallery... If there's not this error message I have an other one : It's just impossible to find the page. >:(

You'll need to contact your host, there is nothing we can do to fix your server.

1.3 is no longer supported - update.

"No support" means "no support", not "some support" or "support in some languages". The only support we should offer for people who run cpg1.3.x is helping them to ugrade, nothing else imo.
Moving from cpg1.4.x support (where you shouldn't have posted in the first place) to outdated cpg1.3.x support board.
