Title: How many database needed?

I read up and found out to install Coppermine, I need 1 database.

Currently my forum has 1 database with my webhost. So in order for me to instal COppermine, do I need to have 2 database(1 for my forum, 1 for Coppermine)?

Can someone shed some light to me?

No you can use same databse with different table prefix
