Title: Help!! My Coppermine won't show my pictures anymore.
Post by: eurekadan on October 14, 2006, 01:20:12 am: If this was just a few pictures, I would start from scratch, but I currently have 2083 pictures in my files. Everything was fine (for 2+ years) until a few days ago when my pictures wouldn't view anymore. They still exist in USERPICS, but they don't show as albums.

When this change occurred, the following happened:
1) Config was blank. I restored it to day 1, but can't change any of the other settings. If I do, it takes it back to day 1 restore.
2) My times viewed shows 2147483647 times. I was fairly happy that I had 20,000 hits before it went off, but billions, that's ridiculous and leads me to believe something malicious got in there.
3) The albums exist, but aren't named. They are shown as having nothing inside, but the page registers all the pictures exist.
4) I also can't search out any of my pictures even though I can browse them in my Public HTML.

Please help me!!
I would really appreciate it.

Post by: Tranz on October 14, 2006, 07:28:48 pm: eurekadan, to clarify, we no longer support 1.2 and 1.3. You will need to ugrade to the latest version in order to get support. In this case, it's hard to know what happened. That's why it is very very important to keep all your web scripts up-to-date. Also, you need to make backups. Ask your webhost if they have a backup of the database from before you lost the data.
