Title: changed domain names, now bridging doesn't work
Post by: delmarva on October 04, 2006, 02:34:05 am
I moved my forum software (VB) to a new server and domain name. I also transferred my coppermine installation and database to the new server, but the bridge is still pointing to the old location. I tried to disable the bridge by typing in "http://mydomain.com/coppermine/bridgemgr.php" and I didn't have the login correct 3 times and it gave me a countdown of 100+ minutes until I could try again. Is there any way around waiting? I tried replacing the bridgemgr.php file, but that didn't do it.

I really just want to disable the bridging and re-bridge with the new domain name and database info.

You can remove your ban from the database manually using phpmyadmin.

Thanks,

I can't remember the admin password. Is there any way of resetting or recovering this?

Actually, how do I reset it using phpmyadmin? I can't seem to find it and am not too familiar with phpmyadmin.

use adminpass.php , it will reset it under xxx_users table of coppermine ,then you can use it for bridgemgr.php
