Title: batch add files directory problem
Post by: jessicac on September 27, 2006, 03:04:54 pm
New install of 1.4.9. working ok so far. set config. now trying to batch add to an album and get error:

please select a directory
    /C:\\htdocs\\daisy\\forum\\gallery\\albums/
There are no folders inside the "albums" folder yet. Make sure to create at least one custom folder within "albums" folder and ftp-upload your files there. You mustn't upload to the "userpics" nor "edit" folders, they are reserved for http uploads and internal purposes.

Any ideas on this and how to fix it?

Use the classic interface (ie not browsable) on windows servers.

Use the classic interface (ie not browsable) on windows servers.

To get to the 'not browsable' interface you set 'Browsable interface' to 'No' when you are on the batch add screen.

Then do exactly as suggested in the upload troubleshooting section of the docs. Locking.
