Title: 0 uploads were successful
Post by: Juguard on August 25, 2006, 06:08:24 am
First, I have searched, but nothing helped.

I have my php.ini configured right to accept files larger than 2M, but I still get a "0 uploads were successful" message.
This is for both images, and videos.  Both images, and videos work if they are under 2M.

Look at my phpinfo here: http://www.juguard.com/phpinfo.php  ....

Thanks in advance for your help.

hmm, the log shows me this, even though my phpinfo shows larger file sizes.

Code: [Select]

max_execution_time | 30 | 30

That's not what I have asked for. In fact, you're suppossed to leave notices_display switched off (unless you understand what notices mean).

Well, here is what I think its wrong, its using the default php.ini, not the one I changed.  Go to the 2 links bellow.

http://www.juguard.com/cpg148/phpinfo.php

and

http://www.juguard.com/phpinfo.ini

notice the php.ini path.  how do I make cpg148 use the php.ini that I want?

You don't make coppermine use specific php.ini settings, but your PHP parser. This is a matter of webserver setup, not coppermine setup. Ask your webhost for support.

This is what my host said:

"Hi,

The php.ini file needs to be in the same directory as the script that requires the custom settings. It's not possible to change settings globally, unfortunately."

I can change the settings via php.ini, but the problem is changing the one coppermine is using.  Any ideas?

Probably the webserver needs restarting for the php.ini being taken into account. Again: this is a matter of webserver setup, not Coppermine. Do as I suggested and ask your webhost. I have no idea how to operate your server.

Why don't you do as they suggest and place php.ini in the Coppermine directory?

I did do that, and php.ini is in the root directory.  not sure if it has to be in a different one, or what.  I will try more next week, haven't been around this weekend.

I think I'm having this same problem but am rather clueless about how to solve it.

I've changed the settings in config to allow 4mb pics as big as 400 pixels because I'm able to upload small pics but not big ones.  I want to be able to upload big ones too.  I don't think I have a php.ini file.  At least not in my root or Coppermine directory.  I found my phpinfo.php file but it doesn't make sense to me.

I think maybe its a 'timeout' problem, but I'm at a loss trying to find where to adjust that setting.

Any ideas?  All pertinent permissions have been set to 777.
