Hi,
Newbie to the forums, but not the gallery. :) I have several sites across several servers, which unfortunately means different versions of cPanel, thus Fantastico, thus Coppermine. I have inherited a 5Gb gallery on 1.2.1 which I obviously need to upgrade. Advice please? My gut feeling is throw it away and start again, but clearly this is easier said than done with a big gallery.
All help appreciated.

We disapprove the use of auto-installers to set up coppermine, as they are buggy and outdated. Particularly Fantastico is notorious for offering outdated and buggy versions - for details, search (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?action=search2;search=fantastico) the board. We strongly recommend never to use Fantastico again in relation with Coppermine. Always perform installs and updates as we suggest in our documentation - don't let yourself get lulled into believing that you're going to get the same thing when using auto-installers; you won't.
Deep link to upgrade section is http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#13 though.
