Title: Animated gif in displayimage.php ?
Post by: antisa33 on August 02, 2006, 11:58:52 pm
Hello
I have the latest version of coppermine 1.4, when i try to add animated gif, i see thumbnails (gif not animated) in the album, but when i clic on the thumb (displayimage.php), i see nothing, no images.
I would like to see the animated gif.
What can i do ?
Thanks

there is nothing wrong in my test bed !
I can see the animated gif , but mine was small (101x80) and didn't need resizing , may be resizing operation ( create intermediate picture) crrupt it , I'm not sure !

try a small size gif (smaller than intermediate ) so it didn't get resize and then chek it or post a link with non-admin user I'll send my animated gif and check

I have the latest version of coppermine 1.4
The latest version may be something else for you than for others, especially if users come across this thread later (when versions have come out that don't exist yet), so you should always post things like "I'm using cpg1.4.8" instead of saying "I'm using the latest version".

Post a deep link to an animated gif that does what you describe. You have to understand that there's only limited support for animated gifs in the image libraries that Coppermine can use (GD or ImageMagick). You should post as well which one of those two image libraries you use.
