Title: Can't upload images
Post by: toivosl on July 10, 2006, 06:19:55 am
Hello. I can't upload any images. I haven't been managing this install of CPG, so I'm not sure if it is related to changing servers.

When attempting to upload images, I get the following error message:

Error Message:   Impossible to move.

This is the debug info:

- I've run into trouble. What should I do first (before posting on the board)? (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/faq.htm#firstSteps)
- read the stick thread first (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=24088.0)
- General Upload Troubleshooting (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/faq.htm#uploadGeneralTroubleshooting)

and at the end you have imposible to move
here is your answer:

Actually, it doesn't appear that this is the solution.

After changing hosting companies and servers, I am not able to upload images. I read through the faq's and suggestions before posting.

My error message is not :Impossible to move somepic.jpg to albums/userpics/ | Warning: move_uploaded_file(/tmp/phpezCYKr) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to create stream: Operation not permitted.

The error message is simply: Impossible to move.

I suspect that I need to modify some of the other Coppermine files so that they point to the correct servers. Suggestions?

did you checked folder permissions?
check your permissions on the /albums, /albums/userpics, and /albums/edit directories. All should be 777 or 755
