Title: Add a tick for "remember me"
Post by: Fabrian on July 08, 2006, 07:58:31 am
Is there anyway to add a check box at the login page for remember me?  The only way I know how to intergrate my blogs (wp) user db with cpg is by using stilglog's plugin, which doesn't work with another plugin I need to use.

If my users were able to tick "remember me" for my cpg login, atleast that way they'd only have to login once to be able to view the blog and cpg.

This is not just about a "remember me" , you should handle cookie too and also you should handle user/group permission

When bridging Coppermine with another app, Coppermine's user management is not being used any longer, but the user management you're bridging with. Therefor, we can't tell you how the login form of your other app works. We can't tell you how to change the life-span of the cookie. You'd have to ask this question on the support board of the app you're bridging Coppermine with. Moving this thread from "misc" to "bridging".

I'm not asking for support with bridging another app with cpg, I was only saying that I cannot use the one plugin I know of for intergration because it conflicts with another plugin that I need and am using..

So I asked if there is anyway to have a "remember me" option at the login page.  If this existed, it would make logging for my users easier.  Login one time to cpg and everytime to my blog.  This should no longer be in the bridging section.
