Title: Batch Add Files returns unfounded error
Post by: deevee on June 21, 2006, 06:19:04 pm
Hey guys

I just upgraded to a new version of CPG (1.4.8) and everything seemed to be going fine but now when I try to batch add files located in the FTP upload folder (or any other folder for that matter) i get the following error message
Quote
Only files with the following extensions are accepted :

jpg/jpeg/jpe/gif/png/bmp/jpc/jp2/jpx... (loads of differnt formats ommited)

Which is rather concerning cause the folder is only full of jpgs. I truied changing the file extensions from .JPG to .jpg to no avail.
Any help greatly appreciated

Thanks
D

Make sure that the file extensions you want to see added are lowercase, or add the uppercase version of the extension to the list of allowed file in coppermine's config. Please post a deep link to one of the files you're trying to add using batch-add that doesn't show up.

I tired changing the case of the extensions to no avail, the config is set up for both.

is one of the pictures that i'm trying to add, it along with everything else in that folder refuses to be accepted as a .jpg file; which is rather disturbing.

What do you make of it?

I downloaded the file you have issues with and tried batch-adding it to my sample gallery, which returned an error as well (Image Magick error 1). I guess the image is corrupt or too large. Download it to your client, resize it and try again.

i downloaded all of the images in that folder; resized them and resaved them using photoshop, uploaded them to the FTP and ran the batch add and it still returns the same error. This really has me stumped :S

I just tired adding the files manually using the upload function - putting the file names in and uploading them a few at a time and it works fine. Thus; there is nothing wrong with the pictures and something must be awry with the batch add script itself.

Any further thoughts?
I can give you an admin account to have a poke about by PM, i would really appreciate some help on this cos im uber stuck ???
