hi all,
is there a way to make coppermine generate a sample picture like 10 frames into the movie, for display in the gallery, would be kinda cool
anyone know? ive tried to search but ive not found anything regarding it.
thanks in advance guys

no, unless someone make a plugin for it or a hack
i was actually looking for that too but came up with nothin

No, Coppermine depends on the image libraries, IM and GD, to manipulate images. Those libraries don't support thumbnail generation from movie files. There is a library that could do it but not all hosts have it installed so not everyone would be able to use it. You would need to make your request with those above libraries to have the capability you want.

This has been discussed often in other threads. For example: http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=13058.0 (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=13058.0).
@Vargha: I think you need to cut back on the smilies. You seem to be addicted to them. Instead of 10 or 12 a day, how about 1 or 2 - only where they add value to the post?
