Hi,
are there any possibilities to place other files than pictures ( like pdf, doc, ... ) into an album?

Depends on what version of Coppermine you are using, that's why we have different sections. Post what version you are using so that your post can be moved somewhere sensible.

I have posted it here because I need this feature for a new project and now I'm evaluating which picture gallery I'll start with. So most probably if I decide for coppermine, it will be the latest release.

You can upload any type of file into the albums. Take a look through the manual, you can then see exactly what Coppermine can do.

What feature list are you refering to?
From the home page (http://coppermine-gallery.net/):CPG is so fully featured it's not enough to fully list them here.

Yes, I ment that one. Maybe adding a link on that place. And all listed features there are regarding to pictures, so just one comment about that there is support for other files, too wouldn't be the worst idea. Just my thoughts.
