Title: 2 issues with SMF 1.1 RC2 and current (stable) release
Post by: nectere on May 19, 2006, 11:30:09 pm
I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and SMF 1.1 RC2:
[no error message - please see below]

Coppermine install: http://www.nectere.net/cpg145
Forum install: http://www.nectere.net/smf
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.2
Forum version: SMF 1.1 RC2
Test user account: tester / testing

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://www.nectere.net/smf
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../smf/
Use post-based groups?:  no

OK when I log into my forum as a user I am redirected to the gallery instead of staying in the forum, when I log into my forum as myself (admin) I am not redirected. I dont want my users being redirected to the gallery when logging into the forum page http://nectere.net/smf they should stay there and click on the gallery link IF they want to go visit the gallery not be forced to and then have to hit the home button to get back to the forum in which they logged into in the first place...

Second issue and I dont think you will be able to see this is that I am using the theme for my smf version and when in admin mode at the gallery the main menu is displaying incorrectly, the words are stacked instead of on one line such as:

Album   Last      Last           Most       Top       My           Search
List      Uploads  Comments   Viewed    Rated    Favorites

Is there something I can change to get the menu to show proper as such when logged in as a user?

Thanks.

You're using TP.  Does the bridge work correctly if you aren't using TP?

"Stacking" happens if there isn't enough room for all of the text to fit on the same line.

cpg1.4.2 is not the most recent stable release, but a very outdated version...
In the future, please respect the "one issue per thread" policy.
