Dear CM,
I can't seem to get large files (>300KB) to upload. Here are my default PHP setting:
upload_max_filesize:20M
max_execution_time:300
memory_limit:40M
post_max_size:8M
Max size for uploaded files (KB): I set this to 3333 during testing.
http://www.breastfeedingphotocontest.com/
The initial upload syas: "1 uploads were successful."
then when I continue, the thumbnail does not show, but I can selet the album. Then I get the message, "The previous file could not be placed.
You have successfully placed all the files."
Please advise, People are registering for the contest, but I believe they are experiencing difficulties with the upload.

So smaller files go through fine?
Have you gone through the sticky thread on this board? (Troubleshooting the Upload Process)
-
I'm having this EXACT problem! If you find a solution can you please let me know?
-
The error message posted in the first posting of this thread is a generic one (i.e. it shows whenever something goes wrong during uploads, although the reasons may differ), so there's no saying if you have the same issue. Check if Paver's reply applies to you as well. If you want actual help, start a new thread after having read http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#upload_trouble
-
I was mainly referring to being able to batch add files <300kb but anything larger just shows the broken image icon at the batch add screen.
-
do as Paver suggested then.
-
No luck with paver's suggestion. :-[
I hate feeling useless but my problem seems to be some random and a real pain.
I can supply you with a user account if that helps at all if you have a chance to take a look:
www.pruddy.com/photos/
test/test
also, if you really want to go as far as taking a look at my batch add failures, I can supply you an admin account via private message.
Sorry about my issues :(

Your gallery is version 1.3.3, which is quite old. Why are you posting on the 1.4 board? ::)
It might not be related if it is some sort of permissions or webserver thing, but it is strongly recommended that you upgrade to the current version 1.4.5 (for security fixes and for all our sanity when supporting).
If you don't want to upgrade, we need to move this thread to the 1.3 board.
Once again, note to self: Ask for a link during my first reply. :-\

let's not let this thread get more complicated than necessary: Ashcamp started this thread, so it is his thread. Gtg941f butted in (trying to hijack this thread), although he failed to do as suggested and his coppermine version even differs. Suggestion@gtg941f: start your own thread on the appropriate board that deals with your version of coppermine, providing the information needed.
