I was very surpried to see there is no "Contact Us" option on the toolbar. Please, consider this option!

why not added to the core it's good option.

I think it would be redundant for some people who already have a contact method. If you don't have one and want one, then there's the one that was suggested or any other number of scripts available. People will have different needs so it would too much effort to try to please everybody.

(Just think of this: I'm a generic user, who have your forum installed through Fantastico. I have no clue of "other scripts". I want visitors to contact us to enqure, suggest or ask about pictures.
Guess, what I do?
You are right. I go back to Fantastico and install other galleries, to see, if they have this feedback feature.
I guess, there are thousands of us, Fantastico installers with no scripting knowlage.)

Thu listed good reasons not to include such a page in the core Coppermine. We would like to keep Coppermine as useful for all users as possible, but not include too many features that would make it bloated and hard to navigate.
The new plugin system and the improved theme system allow users to customize Coppermine to their hearts' desire(s). This forum is a way for users to see what customizations others have done that they might want to use as well. We are also currently working on a way to more easily list & search such customizations (similar to the themes list under Downloads and in the Demo).
So a user would install Coppermine, say he/she wants a "Contact Us" page, go to the customizations list and pull up a plugin/mod/theme customization to do it. Right now, such a user could search this forum and find them plus discussions about them.
That's better than including all of them in the core Coppermine.

For contacting you about specific pictures, it's already possible with 1.4x. It's the report to moderator feature that you could rename to fit your needs.
