Title: Upload picture(s) by giving an URL
Post by: athlonkmf on January 12, 2004, 01:44:50 pm
I'm a Menalto Gallery user. One option that I love from Gallery is the option to upload pictures by giving a URL.

When I give a URL to a single picture, it'd just download that picture and place it in a album automaticly.

When I give a URL of a website (for instance a directory listing, or maybe another gallery) it'd give me the option to select which picture I want to get and it'll download them.

This is very handy and I hope this feature can be considered for implementation.

I used gallery, and you have reason, this feature is a basic feature of the profesional photo scripts, it would be great the implementation in coppermine.

Agreed having more ways to add pictures would be great - Any volunteers for adding this feature?

Atleast half the functionality is already there in Coppermine in the form of batch add pictures

I am currently not inclined to code for this as I am unlikely to use it :D

And another request (asked by my members)

Select a pic to put them in their album directly (actually they download the pic on their hard drive, and after upload it on their album)
