I am wondering if it is possible to be able to do the following with in this software.

On my website I want a picture gallery (hopefully intergrated into the website), I want it completely public so I want to hide/switch off all user setup (except one, me!) Only this one logon will be able to upload pictures /do anything to the site. Anyone will be able to see all images.

All public users will be able to use the ecard and I would like a download button, which just downloads the pic to there PC (some of my users are not that computer literate!)

Firstly is this possible.

Yes, everthing you want can be done using Coppermine.
Read documentation for details.
